<p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">A family-run, handicraft enterprise set up in 1946 at Bois d’Amont (Jura), at that time making a variety of wooden objects and toys, becomes a private limited liability company on 1 July 1953 and, subsequently, a public limited company on 28 June 1966. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Since 1953, the Lacroix company has specialised in the production of wooden and cardboard cheese packaging and since 1960 cardboard packaging production has been the group’s main activity.</font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1953 to 1961 :</b> The Bois d’Amont factory buildings are continuously extended<b> </b></font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1966 :</b> A production plant is built at Hennezel (Vosges). </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1968 :</b> The Sagy (Saône et Loire) plant is built. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1974 :</b> An existing plant for the production of wooden crates (for market gardeners and cheese makers) is purchased at Frontenaud (Saône et Loire).  Said plant is also used for the parallel production of plywood to meet the internal needs of the Group. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1975 :</b> A printing plant is built at Sans Vallois (Vosges) in order to provide a more complete service for the client. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1979 :</b> A building is purchased at Bois d’Amont for the establishment of a mechanical workshop that is to be responsible for maintaining and repairing machines, producing tools and carrying out studies and technological research into new machines and production methods. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1981 :</b> The head office is established at Bois d’Amont in order to centralise the administration of the Lacroix Group. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1981 :</b> A building at Ferté Macé (Orne) is purchased in order to offer clients in the Camembert region a more efficient service. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1985 :</b> The company’s development in the west of France continues with the construction of a production plant at Juvigny-le-Tertre (Manche). </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1986 :</b> The Lacroix Group enters the field of plastic transformation.  For said purpose, the company purchases a building at Foncine-le-Haut (Jura) and establishes the private limited liability company PLAST-LAX which is a subsidiary of public limited company ETS RENE LACROIX, Ltd. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1987 :</b> A building is purchased at Ardon (Jura) for plastic operations.</font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1997 :</b> The company sets up in Canada (Québec) by creating the subsidiary LACROIX PACKAGING.</font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>1999 :</b> The NORTH AMERICA IML CONTAINERS subsidiary is set up in Canada for plastic transformation. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>2000 :</b> The company moves into Eastern Europe with the establishment of the following subsidiaries:</font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>2001 : </b>The company continues its expansion throughout Eastern countries with the establishment of LACROIX OUPAKOWKI in Russia.</font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>2002 :</b> The PAKAL subsidiary is set up in Algeria.</font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>2003 :</b> ETS RENE LACROIX Co. becomes LACROIX EMBALLAGES. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>2004 :</b> A printing plant is established in Poland, OSDRUK.<b> </b></font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>2004/2005 :</b> Wood rotary peeling and veneering operations are transferred from the Frontenaux plant to the newly-constructed plant at Cousance (Jura) in order to increase production capacities.<b> </b></font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>2005 :</b>: A production plant is set up  in Turkey, LACROIX AMBALAJ. </font></p> <p><font size="-2" color="#535353" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>2006 :</b> A plastic transformation plant is established in Iowa (USA), IML CONTAINERS IOWA. </font></p> <p><font
